Our first in-person meeting to coordinate genome analyses within Project Psyche will be held at the University of Liverpool, UK from 21st-24th April. This will be an intensive 4-day meeting to bring together members interested in analysing the wealth of lepidopteran genomic data now available.
The aim of this meeting is to coordinate different working groups involved in lepidopteran genome analysis and advance the progress already made in the past few months. Following the publication of the Project Psyche whitepaper (www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0169534725002927), we now want to work together to analyse the first 1,200 lepidopteran genomes produced by Project Psyche and other genome projects. Everyone that would like to contribute to the collaborative analysis of these genomes is encouraged to attend. Over the 4 days, the schedule will consist of updates on the data available to all working groups, presentations from each working group on progress to date, and workshop sessions to bring together ideas and carry out analyses.
Funding for attendance is provided for members of working group 3 through the Lep10K COST action. Places have already been allocated. If you are interested in attending, or contributing to the collaborative effort of genome analysis, please contact the [email protected] for more information.
